Its so exciting when a new baby arrives!  I decided to make a blanket for one of my good friends and boy was it fun!  There are so many possibilities when creating something for a baby especially if its a GIRL!

With my husband working in Chicago for several months last year I kind of let my blog go.

Shabby Chic quilt

Okay, this is my first experience making a rag quilt.  I heard a quote by Elder Uchdorf, in a talk at church and I thought was so appropriate for a friend of mine that I decided to embroider it on a quilt.
 I had so much fun making it that I think I might start making one a week (except for one small problem- it's kind of expensive)!

I love how there are so many options of things to do with embroidery!!
